Bisa dikatakan sebagai RPG pertama yang lahir, LoZ lahir dari ide kreatif yang tak pernah habis dari seorang Shigeru Miyamoto, seseorang yang turut membesarkan nama Nintendo dengan karya-karyanya yang menakjubkan. Sampai sekarang, ada 10 judul yang telah diterbitkan:

Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GC, 2003)

Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA, 2004)
